Water and your pet

One of the easiest things you can do for your pet that requires almost no effort is make sure fresh water is available at all times. Multiple water containers spread throughout the house and freshened daily will help ensure your pet’s hydration needs are met and may decrease many health problems your pet can experience down the road. Just like people, animals don’t always have the best judgment when it comes to how much water to drink so don’t be afraid to guide you dog to the water bowl after heavy activity. Add a few ice cubes to the water to catch your pet’s interest and promote hydration. Remember, being proactive in your pets health will increase your pets chances of a longer, more active life as well as possibly a decrease in vet bills.
